Popular Post Rockytime Posted January 26, 2020 Popular Post Report Posted January 26, 2020 Frank Pellow posted this clock a few days ago. Really caught my attention. It is a Sue May design. I'm making 11 of these for Christmas gifts. I'll be alternating the fronts and backs. White on black and black on white. I don't particularly like making duplicates but I'll stack these 3 up and cut from 3/16 luan plywood. Scrappile, new2woodwrk, Ninuninu and 19 others 21 1 Quote

Denny Knappen Posted January 29, 2020 Report Posted January 29, 2020 I don’t like doing multiples, but those will make great gifts. Rockytime 1 Quote

rdatelle Posted February 2, 2020 Report Posted February 2, 2020 Hi Rocky, I looked at the original pattern and it doesn't have a backer on it. What size clock insert did you use. Quote

Rockytime Posted February 3, 2020 Author Report Posted February 3, 2020 OK, I just measured. The threaded shaft is 9/16" long and the shaft uses a 5/16" drill. The backer was made using a method Chas. Deering demonstrated using a washer and tracing around the clock pattern. I can't describe it but someone here may have the verbal skills to adequately describe it. I could perhaps show a photo after the Stupi..er Super Bowl game. Quote
