Did you add a shim on the backs of those pieces or did you start with thicker wood for those pieces? I also note what a good job you did with the eyes. You used no paint, as you said, but the eyes and a few other small round pieces are very dark and distinct. Did you use a dark wood such as ebony or wenge? And how did you get the eyes and nail heads so round? Great job. You are an expert. Quote

I have shims under two of the birds, Noah's mustache, and the sheep's faces. Judy Gale Roberts (love her patterns) had a note on the pattern, suggesting using a wood burner for the eyes and nail heads, so that is what you see. jvbscroller and amazingkevin 2 Quote
