Hawk Posted February 5, 2021 Report Posted February 5, 2021 Exactly!!!! When I heard about Clint's answer to thst question, I decided right there then that's how I'm approaching this age thing. I hit 61 the end of the month. Put your seat belt on, it's going to be a ride from here on out... Chris Quote
preprius Posted February 5, 2021 Report Posted February 5, 2021 I just turned 61. My father is 86, was just hospitalized for dimentia. The paraniod kind. So watching the video brought me to tears. Something about a sad country really gets to me. I'm getting tired of doing my job but can't retire yet. So I just started the scroll saw a few months ago. My point is I'm still learning. A friend I have is 92. He does 100 situps and 1 hour of bike each day. He still drives. I am interested in the many ideas from this group on ... how not to let the old guy in. Quote

I have you a few years and face that not really enjoying work routine, but my saw takes me to a zen state where I can deal with everything else. Scroll sawing is so much cheaper than therapy. BTW, I am retiring or semi retiring in late April. Quote
