I've been having trouble keeping a grip while cutting; I have plenty of strength in my hands and fingers, but I keep slipping on the piece. I have tried thin cotton gloves and latex gloves with some success.

Do any of you have the same type of trouble? If so, what is your go to solution?

P.S. Yes, this affects me in other things, I have other solutions for other activities (part of my job is to stretch canvas prints on  frames, my fingers won't grip the canvas unless I lightly wet my fingers. Can't really use that method for scrolling.)

From the way I read your post,

I would suggest a general visit and physical by my Doctor.

This has been an ongoing problem for many years, but I will revisit it with my Doctor in May.

The fingertip moistener is working, just enough extra grip, no transfer to the pattern or wood.

I don't have the problem yet myself, although my hands/fingers do get cramped and lock into abnormal positions

I was going to recommend the finger tips as I was looking at them recently for something else
