I have drawn blood twice in 15+ years. Cutting really small parts and being too close to the blade, I sneezed. I haven't been scrolling anywhere near that long, but learned quickly that using a blade long past its replacement time resulted in a dull blade getting past a grain line and jumping through relatively softer wood, usually to the detriment of the pattern.....although buffing a fingernail on the blade caused me to sit back and rethink the cost of each individual blade versus the shame of having to explain to the wife why I needed a BandAid..... Chiloquinruss Posted July 27, 2021 Report Posted July 27, 2021 While it's not really a joke, but watching me working in my shop is sometimes very humerus! Russ Quote
FrankEV Posted July 27, 2021 Report Posted July 27, 2021 The last one I read recently is something like: "Like whirlpools, if you live North of the Equator you alwasy scroll counterclockwise, and if you live South of the Equator you scroll clockwise." Not sure if it is a joke, but more like a trueism! Quote
