In Steve Good's post today, he mentioned a famous brand of saw that begins with "Ex".

I have never--to the best of my memory--ever looked up that saw or clicked on an ad. 

Yet, in a non scroll saw story linked from a news site, I saw at least three ads for that particular saw as well as a couple of posts for blades.

Now, I did click on a post here or the other saw board where someone was pondering a new saw an the ex was mentioned.

Three years ago, my family all put their phones in the middle of the table and began a discussion of some off the wall topic and a couple of hours later, more than half were getting ads for that topic (an adventure trip, if I remember).

Android (Google) phones?  And do you use Chrome as the Web browser?  Chrome is Google also so Everything you do is being watched. Also there were some apps in the Android world that turn on the mic in your phone. I think this has been remove from their App Store. There have been some reports that the Facebook app did that also but not aware if that has been proven.
