smitty0312 Posted April 27, 2022 Report Posted April 27, 2022 (edited) I had an MRI on my left knee Monday.....found out today that I have a meniscus tear & will require surgery, also cleaning out arthritis while in there......twisted my knee at work back in middle of March on a slippery floor.....4-5 weeks recovery they said because of my age (57)....surgery is scheduled week from Friday....no sympathy needed, just a few prayers that day God Bless Smitty Edited April 27, 2022 by smitty0312 John B, danny, Roberta Moreton and 5 others 7 1 Quote

I have had left knee surgery 5-6 years ago and healing went well. My father had bilateral knee replacements and has done well for many many years. smitty0312 Posted May 11, 2022 Author Report Posted May 11, 2022 Update…..desk job got ended after just one day…..walking with no pain or limp…went post op appointment yesterday, he approved I can do fork truck driving only & also 8hr days instead of rotating 12’s for a month….then follow up with doctor 1st part of June…..safety guy at work said “ I’ve never seen anybody recover from meniscus surgery that fast”…..it was 4 days since surgery God Bless Fab4 and meflick 2 Quote
