My searches have all failed to find the desired post. ย I think it was earlier this year but maybe last year. The post showed a special type of paint/coating on a dwarfโ€™s beard that really made it stand out. Any help much appreciated, thanks in advance.ย

Programming note:

If anyone has downloaded the PDF, it was created with Inkscape 1.2 using multipage option.

It opens just fine in Acrobat but if you want to modify I have found that when I open it I get a grey desktop.ย

I found that if you open new document and then import the PDF it gives you a clean SVG to modify.ย  (you can delete blank page and the instructions with the page option- the bottom of the left tool bar)

Another way to reproduce this project would be to just make a paper copy of the photo (full size) and glue it to the wood and cut out.ย  Quick and no painting...no mess.ย

Cute project.ย  ย  ย What is ย DecoArtยฎ Snow Writer Paint?ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย JANย

Just what do you use it for??????ย  Texture?????ย  ย  Just HOW do you use it?ย  When and why would you want to have snow???ย  ย I never heard of it ??????ย  ย ( I have lived a very sheltered life....Lol).ย  ย  ย  ย  ย jAN

John, yes it is used to add texture usually to painted projects that you want โ€œsnowโ€ on, at least that was its original intent when put out. Decorative painters like Tole Painters, or like Sheila Landryโ€™s painted projects have been using it for years. But as Don has shown, it can be used to add a white texture to any white item like here on the gnomeโ€™s beard which decorative painters have also done so itโ€™s not limited to using for just โ€œsnowโ€. It has been around for many years so perhaps you have been living a sheltered life. โ˜บ๏ธ๐Ÿคซ๐Ÿซขโ˜บ๏ธ

Must be something to do with John's :) I had never heard of it either, But.............................. then again it could be because we don't have snow ๐Ÿ˜†โ˜ƒ๏ธ๐ŸŒž๐Ÿ•ถ๏ธ
