Not ready for Old Man Winter, and should be quite a while here since I am further south, but I am ready to be done with the hot, humid, heat of summer here. Ready for a little more Fall weather. My cherry trees in my backyard never fail to let me know when we hit August, I’m always a little amazed - it’s like clock work, shortly into August, they start dropping their leaves. I look forward to cooler days and then hope we stay that way mostly with a mild winter. 🙂🤫

It's the opposite here. Just getting into spring, which is a strange time in the goldfields. Rain one day, freezing the next, Windy another and beautifully sunny .another.
I don't like the extreme heat we get, but I sure look forward to thawing out and getting some warmth back into my bones.

Winter in S. AZ ain't too shabby. Still, below 40° chills these old bones. It's 42° now and headed for a gloriously, sunny 75°. But, tomorrow the bottom drops out. A high of 50° and rain all day. The Weather Channel site has our overnights at 30° for a few nights this coming week.
