Popular Post Zoot Fenster Posted February 19, 2023 Popular Post Report Posted February 19, 2023 It has been a long time since the last project. Furniture making and 2 months of RVing got in the way. JGR pattern I-124 using oak and padauk for the branch, dyed curly maple for leaves, misc wood for the chipmunks. It was harder than I thought. The leaves were dyed CM, but did not turn out "fall color". Needed some detailing, I think. Despite being highly touted, I dislike Western Red Cedar. Mop sanding makes it rough instead of smooth. The branch turned out better than expected. Fun project! On to the next one.. GrampaJim, frankorona, Dak0ta52 and 10 others 13 Quote

Sycamore67 Posted February 19, 2023 Report Posted February 19, 2023 Very well done. Your choice of wood and color works well. The shaping if the pieces makes them lifelike. This is an excellent Intarsia piece!!!! Quote
