Working on this guy. A Rottweiler.  Lots of wavy cuts in this one. Fun to do.

That turned out great, Jess. I really like your choice of wood with the live edge. The piece also looks quite thick. I'm sure it wasn't an easy cut. Did you use a spiral or straight blade?

I used straight blades.  I experimented with different types and sizes, anywhere from a #2/0 to a #3. I thought this piece of wood looked great too.  It wasn't so hard to cut but I did break a few of the smaller blades.

My friend's dog is named Stella. I was thinking of putting her name at the bottom of the piece.  Can anyone suggest a good font that is not too difficult?  Haven't done words yet and they are intimidating to me.  Seems they would need to be absolutely perfectly done to look good.

Birds of Paradise is a nice script font.  Can be found at Dafont.com
