Wren Houses

Spent some time and made three new Wren Houses this weekend.  They will be back very soon.

Very nice Larry. I've been wanting to make some birdhouses. We don't have any trees, unfortunately so I have to find something that will work on a post or something along that line. Any ideas?

Ray....Put an arm on a tall post.  I have hung them from a Gazebo and the Wrens were happy with that.  I have a lot of trees but like to put them where we can easily watch them

Our wrens have started nesting. We also watch the bluebirds and house sparrows fight over housing. We frequently evict the house sparrows, so the bluebirds usually win.

Great on you.. I have been wanting to make more bird houses.  I love watching, feeding and caring for birds.  I need to get back to doing more for them.

Great Wren houses.  I haven't made a birdhouse in years and those would be great to hang up in our Orchard.  Thanks for the fun ideas!
