Scrappile Posted August 11, 2024 Report Posted August 11, 2024 I placed an order with Ocooch Hardwoods recently. In a very timely manner, it was prepared and shipped. Tracking the order, I noticed on the day before it was scheduled to be delivered, I had screwed up my delivery address! I called Ocooch, and explained it and the person said they would call UPS and try to correct it. He did and in short order, I got a message from UPS tracking that the delivery address had been changed. Long story short. The package got to our local distribution center but needed further clearance from the sender. I emailed Ocooch with the info. In minutes I got a call personal call from Ocooch with more info on what hey had found out. Based on their info, I decided to drive to the local distribution center and see if I could retrieve my package. Got to give credit also to the local UPS customer service. They located the package quickly and I was able to pick it up. My point is, even in todays world. When I had a problem with an order, My fault, Ocooch was very responsive and timely to help me solve the problem! Wooden Lace Posted August 11, 2024 Report Posted August 11, 2024 I've dealt with Ocooch several times and always had great service. I shipped through UPS for 11 years and wouldn't use anyone else. Dak0ta52 Posted August 14, 2024 Report Posted August 14, 2024 A while back I placed an order from Ocooch Hardwoods for some BB ply. A couple of the sheets delaminated very badly and the pieces I cut from these sheets were unusable. I gave them a call and the gentleman I spoke with didn't hesitate in saying they would correct the problem. To be fair, I wanted to make sure the other sheets of BB ply I had ordered didn't also delaminate. I had ordered five sheets and of the five, two delaminated. I took pictures of the pieces I had cut and showed details of the delamination and emailed them to Ocooch Hardwoods. I also placed another order for additional BB ply in hopes that they could place my order and the two replacement sheets into the same shipment but that didn't happen. Regardless, they didn't hesitate to replace the two pieces that delaminated, and I received my new order one day and the replacement sheets the following day. Excellent customer service! Right now I'm only working on commission work which, at the moment, I have none. I have so many pieces cut that I'm running out of space to keep them. The vender event I usually go to every year is no longer having the event due to the owner's health. I have a few other events I'm looking into but nothing definite yet. I do know I've missed being on the saw. I've cut a few "small" 3D pieces just to keep spider webs away. Anyway, if I have problems with my newest wood order, I'm sure Ocooch Hardwoods will make it good. Like I said in my previous post, they have great service. Quote
