First of Many, I hope

A friend of my wife's just went through a divorce.  Father is a jerk.  Anyway,  she has a little son who had a rough start in life and had many health issues, but at almost three, he is doing really well.  His grandfather does not live close by and really does not show a lot of interest in having a grandson.  So, good for me, I have another little one I can make things for.  His mother said she took him to a Monster Truck show a while back.  NOW, all he talks about are the Monster Trucks.  So, I just finished the first of what I hope to be several toys.  I am going to have a great time and use up a bunch of scrap wood.

That's awesome, Paul. Is that your pattern? I can't stop making things for my 4 grandkids. The two boys really love trucks. And after doing finishing work on the garage I have plenty of scraps.

I have a granddaughter who went through the same thing (jerk of a father).  So, I have 3 great grandsons.  Looks like toys are in the plans.
