  2. Outstanding, especially with a handheld fret saw. I don't think I could do it with my Pegas saw. Jerry

  11. He uses veneered HDF (High Density Fiberboard) for his layered projects, but he says you can use plywood or hardboards. I think that is because what he uses is hard to find here. I have found medium density fiberboard and my local Home Depot, but it is not veneered. I sent him a message a couple of months ago and he was quick to respond. I think he probably gets a lot of requests because he sends a nice explanation of his entire process. I you click on his picture you will find in the top a little envelope. Click on that and send him a message. That envelope is his email address. By doing this only the two of you are involved. If you have questions don't hesitate to ask. Jerry Walters

  15. I'm no expert on this type of cut, but I would think the top would cut at a different angle. If the walnut were on top the maple would have been a perfect fit. Just my opinion. I think if you had cut each by itself they both would have fit. Hope this makes sense. Jerry
  16. For the past several years I have purchased 3M 77 spray at ACE hardware. A few months ago, when I needed some, went to the same store. The only had Gorilla Spray adhesive. I thought OK, this is a good brand. Clerks in the store didn't know much about the brand. Didn't work well for me. Maybe I was using it wrong. Anyway, I found that sometimes my pattern would pull away from the shelf paper I would put on the wood. I have used Gorilla wood glue with no issues. Recently when in the store I noticed they had 3M 77 spray back on the shelf, but the can did not look the same. The instructions on how to use it also changed, but I thought what the heck. I will try it. Following the instructions to a "T", it worked. I will see what happens the next time I use it. Jerry
  17. You can add Coast Guard to that list also. Jerry

  19. Hi all, been a while since I last posted. This is a napkin holder pattern by Sue Mey of the Scroll Saw Artist. Because of a few issues haven't spent much time at my saw. Wanted to have this done by Easter, just didn't make it but I did give it the good old college try. Please see attached. Jerry

  21. Joe, looks stunning to me. Also, looks like you painted "honey" on it, not cut glass. Very nice. Jerry
