Popular Post Denny Knappen Posted September 2, 2025 Popular Post Report Posted September 2, 2025 Another Alex Fox Basket C275. This is my favorite design which is why I took the picture from the top. I used 1/4"solid Cherry 8" square. Cut on the Pegas Scroll Saw using Pegas #0 Super Skip blades. After sanding, glue each ring, let dry, then glue another. A coat of spray Shellac, another sanding with a Mac Mop, and a final coat of spray Lacquer Clear Gloss. Comments welcome. MarieC, meflick, Matt B and 9 others 12 Quote

Matt B Posted September 4, 2025 Report Posted September 4, 2025 I just ordered this pattern. Is there a reason that you use a #0 skip tooth blade? I normally use a MGT 3 for almost all my cuttings as it is the most comfortable for me. Quote
MarieC Posted September 5, 2025 Report Posted September 5, 2025 Denny, that looks like a great basket. Can you post a picture of it from the side. Thanks. mc Quote

They don't make a #0 MGT, so I went to #0 Super Skip blade, About the same tpi but no reverse teeth. This is not a problem as I have to sand each ring separately. Quote
