relief (emboss) text size?

What is the smallest text size that has been done using relief (emboss) technique?

Followup question. What is smallest text size for inlay?

Here is my attempt on 1/4 thick wood.  the inner portion if "3" broke out and i purposely did not cut out the hole from the 6. I used #1 blade due to 1/4" wood.   Text size is slightly less than 1/2". 

the 0 and 1 , I cut the wrong direction. So i added notes for table angle and cut direction. I am not consistent at direction of table tilt. I overthink cut direction or I forget to think about it.  That is why I do a trial run on scrap wood.

I think the smallest I made was 1 inch.  Suggestion on the "6" use a fount that is scroller friendly.

I have done enlay down to 1/2".   Same as relief only at a slight angle.  You are correct. I always have to concentrate on the direction of cut.  But it is fun to do.  This is a pretty good book on Relief cutting.  It is what got me started.

Paul, wow that is real nice, I have cut that pattern, but not relief just cut with a backer for it stand out, I am going to see about ordering that book, thx for the info, RJ

Sorry, I do not know. I just used what was on the pattern.  Maybe one of our script experts here will know.

@preprius Paul, that is some really nice cutting.  Lettering is usually very difficult.

Barb. the script is scrollscriptmt

The block is a variation on Times new roman bold.  I have never font a scrollable version to this font so I add my own bridges.
