Popular Post BrianA Posted January 1 Popular Post Report Posted January 1 Made this and did not like the glue up or a couple other things. Set it aside and came back to it last week to see if it was worth working on. Cut on scroll saw and finished on the lathe. Made the plugs and drilled and inserted into the flat board before cutting rings, Finished with Danish oil and rattle can of gloss. red river, wombatie, Archer and 14 others 17 Quote

Fish Posted January 14 Report Posted January 14 Nice work. It's always good to hold on to things. There is always something that can come from it. I have a piece I was gonna make into a small lamp, I'll finish it when I can find the right parts. Quote
preprius Posted January 14 Report Posted January 14 nice work. I have done an experiment similar to this. The dots/plugs on bottom don't go all the way through? why? do you have pics of the plugged board before the rings were cut? Me.Mark Eason Quote
BrianA Posted January 15 Author Report Posted January 15 I had to go back and look at it again. I do not remember why the plugs do not go all the way thru. Sorry could not find pics from before cut. I do think I drew circles on board then put in the dowels. Thanks all Quote
