GreggA Posted January 13 Report Posted January 13 I think Ryobi hit the nail on the head here. Great little setup. Has a fence on it for routing as well for the small projects. Drill pressing and it all goes left and right. Looking forward to working with it. ChelCass, Fab4 and OCtoolguy 3 Quote
JimNC Posted January 13 Report Posted January 13 I like the features of this tool set up for my toy making. So what rotary tool are you using in this set up? I have several Dremel rotary tools, will they work with this set up? OCtoolguy 1 Quote
Dan Posted January 13 Report Posted January 13 I watched a few videos on about this tool. It looks a little sloppy. I think it may be good for some projects not requiring precision. I like that it holds the tool so you can hold the material you're cutting, sanding, or whatever with both hands. OCtoolguy 1 Quote
GreggA Posted January 13 Author Report Posted January 13 Yes they are interchangeable. Currently in it is a Walmart knock off. Fits perfect OCtoolguy 1 Quote

The hands free feature is what I like and the base looks steady maybe use a couple of screws to hold down. But the price $114? Not sure how often I would use. GreggA is right "Great little setup". GreggA Posted January 13 Author Report Posted January 13 I definitely think Ryobi has raised the standard with this rotary tool workstation in comparison to what Dremel offers. Just my opinion… OCtoolguy 1 Quote
Mike Crosa Posted January 13 Report Posted January 13 I looked it up. Seems like a lot of money for what it is. Quote
Wichman Posted January 14 Report Posted January 14 My one question is: can you install the rotary tool upside down? I have an application where is would be necessary. Quote
