Temu wood

I keep getting pop up ads for very pretty wood from Temu. I do not have the app so I can't see any prices or descriptions.

Has anyone had any experience with this?

Any info appreciated.

Temu is a Chinese mail order site, Not a type of wood. I personally would never order anything from pop up adds.

I've purchased a few things from Temu but not any wood. So far I've been very happy with the things I've bought.

My son bought a really cheapy tool kit from them just to have some stuff inside the house rather than having to run out to the shop every time. He was quite impressed with the quality of the set he got for the money.. that could be saying a lot since he is a heavy equipment mechanic and he's used to the tool truck companies tools.

I have ordered a couple of things from Temu.  You have to be aware of the size in the order.  The plate stands, I thought I ordered, were much smaller.  They are now my business card holders.

Hubby and I buy from Temu quite often.  We have gotten some great deals.  The nice part about Temu is when you buy from them in China you get free shipping/  If you buy Local then it is 2.99 shipping (still a deal).  Returns are super easy.................there are none!  All you have to do is tell them you are not happy with item and they issure you a refund and you don't need to send item back..............win-win.  Also they give you a estimated time the package will arrive.  If it does not arrive in that time limit, they *automatically * give you a 5.00 refund.  I have not bought any wood yet but think I may give it a try and see what it's like.  This company really goes out of its way to please their customers.

I have ordered from them a hand held router and bits and a whole saw kit and very well pleased with the Quality,never ordered wood.

I have never bought anything from TEMU.  But, per this thread, I looked at wood on their site.  What I saw was a nice variety of exotic wood but only small pieces and pricey.

I would not be surprised if temu shipped a picture of the wood rather than the wood itself

I always try to support local providers and manufacturers. I am usually quite upset when I realize that almost everything we can buy is made in China.
