My 5 year old wasn’t welcome at his sister’s sleepover tonight, so we had guy time in the shop. He drew some dinosaur patterns and a tree for me to cut out.

That is a great idea Tim.  I bet your son really enjoyed drawing these designs for you and the having dad cut them out on wood.  Hopefully he will keep them forever and then show them to his children.

It's always a good time with the little ones when you can make them things. My daughter had me make a bunch of stars and she colored them with glow in the dark markers then stuck them to the ceiling in her room. LOL

That is really good that you can have time with the little one in the shop with the little one drawing out what he likes and you get to cut it out for him! That is the one thing that I am missing with our great grand son who is with his parents over in Japan for at least 4 more years!  He will be 6 years old in Oct and we last seen him when he turned 3 years old here in the US!  Enjoy both of  your young ones while you can, they grow up so fast!

Always fun with young ones.  My grandkids are grown and show no interest.  Maybe for the greatgrandkids!
