Wilson's Woodworking Posted January 5, 2014 Report Posted January 5, 2014 Here are the dolphins I just finished for my daughter in Florida. The pattern is out of a Judy Gale Roberts and Jerry Booher book. The woods I used are Redwood and Box elder. It is a really easy pattern but my daughter has always loved dolphins. Next is a rooster napkin holder. That one is going to test my skills a lot more then this one did. Aedinger 1 Quote

heppnerguy Posted January 24, 2014 Report Posted January 24, 2014 Danny, You did a great job on these dolphins, It was the first intarsia piece that I made. I did mine on my band saw because i hated my scroll saw so much. I have to say that it came out really good, after a lot of sanding to make the pieces fit properly, but the good part was I started reading about scrolling and decided to give my scroll saw another shot. when I discoverd about "blades" I was off and running with my scroll saw. so I like these dolphons for more than one reason.
