We just got back from the Dr office and he told her she has breast cancer! She had been worried about her biopsy report and we went to day to see what it was. So the Dr had given us the details and is going to refur her to a Dr in Sequim that deals with cancer. I don't know what else will happen. She had lost her son and her husband 8 months apart from each other. We are both caring for our mother who is suffering from dementia and is nearing the end of her life and such. She doesn't remember from day to day any more. She could eat some thing and not remember that she ate. So we try not to leave her by her self for very long, but some times we need to go get groceries and it takes the both of use to load and unload the car. Now I need to get my driver license so I can do some of the driving on the days that she doesn't feel like driving and such. So we won't waste time in just  talking about it, We need to get that done. Then I can take Sis to her surgery and home and to any other appointments as she might have. I'm sure there will be days when she won't feel like driving. Well going to go get my meds taken care of so will go do that in a few minutes. I'm home now for a few days and then will go back to Sequim and to my saw on Thursday,,, Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers... Thank you in advance   Fay

Good day Fay

Many families go through so much burden and sometimes too much all at the same time. I deal with it almost on a daily basis and you have my sincere sympathy. God willing your sister comes through beating her cancer. My thoughts and prayers are with you and family. All you can do is take one day at a time, think positive and take care of yourself.

Fay,

I am truly sorry to hear about your sister, your mother and also to know what you too will be going through as your family and you deal with such hard times. Just continue to know that God is in control and He knows what He is doing in all situations. That does not mean God is inflicting cancer on your sister and making her sick. We don't always understand how God works but we knwo that we do not think as He does. Maybe He wants to bring someone closer to Himself, through this illness. Whatever the case, just don't blame Him and understand that He loves all of us more than we are capable to love others. Trust in Him and talk with Him. He is always there to help, when we turn to Him. I will be praying for your entire family. Cherish every day and know that The Village Family is here to support you in any way we can. Remember, families don't give up on each other and know we are here for you too.

Thank you every one. I'm going to bed now as I have been up since about 4 a.m. I woke up and could not get back to sleep. I was as nervous as  Sis was when we went to the Dr to see what the results of the biopsy was. Hope I sleep good tonight and in my own bed too. I'm home for a couple of days now... Good night  Fay

I did sleep better but found it hard to get to sleep. I woke up about 8 a.m. and having a cup of coffee now. Going to grab another cup before heading out the door. I have to go to the bank and then I want to go to Swains to get a magazine about the fishing regulations and things like that and then I want to look in the habitat store to see if there is any decent pieces of wood. Then I guess that is all I'll do today. Thanks again for all the prayers and kind words. They really mean a lot to us. I know Sis is scared and her Dr gave her a big hug. She'll be getting a lot more of that from me. Mom was never a huggie type of person so doubt if she'll get much support there. I don't know if she will tell her daughter about this but she should tell her. She gets on facebook a lot so I know her grand son Billy will know. Well going to get that cup of coffee. Every one take care and thanks again.. Fay

Thanks every one. Sis is a bit depressed but fine other than that. She goes on Tuesday to see a surgeon and she's got the same surgeon that took out my gallbladder back in 2004! I think she goes to see the oncologist this week also. She's just frustrated on not knowing yet what they are going to do or what they can do or even how bad it is we don't even know what stage it is yet. This not knowing is what is getting her now. I keep my driver's manual in the shop so wen I take breaks away from the saw I have some thing to read and study on. Going to need to get my driver license before long so I can take Mom and Sis to their appointments and such.
