Some of the best projects , I have ever made were made with the actual help and input of someone really interested and willing to be part of the whole process,that kind of help and assistance is rare and honorard and enjoyed for years to come ,lipservice is one thing ,that kind of help treasured .You are a lucky man!!

Very nice work. Looks rock solid. Beautiful color and finish.

 

Can you give us some details? It looks like you maybe used dimensional lumber, doug fir?? And how are the aprons attached to the legs? Mortise and tenon, loose tenon, dowels, or? Anyway super job!

It was made with 2x2, 2x4, and 2x6 pine boards with no special joinery. Everything butts together and is secured with regular wood screws, I think the beauty is in the simplicity. Altogether it was about $70 at Home Depot to make this ( but I did sneak in some extra wood for my supply)
