LarryEA Posted May 13, 2014 Report Posted May 13, 2014 A beautiful table. The finish looks great. Good job... Quote
Wilson's Woodworking Posted May 13, 2014 Report Posted May 13, 2014 I love the Table but your dining room looks a little small to sit around it. You will have to get her on the ball cleaning it up. Really, It looks GREAT and I am sure she will love it when she gets it in the dining room. Quote

oldhudson Posted May 14, 2014 Report Posted May 14, 2014 Very nice work. Looks rock solid. Beautiful color and finish. Can you give us some details? It looks like you maybe used dimensional lumber, doug fir?? And how are the aprons attached to the legs? Mortise and tenon, loose tenon, dowels, or? Anyway super job! Quote
Phantom Scroller Posted May 14, 2014 Report Posted May 14, 2014 Daniel nice finish on that table a few brownie points for you now. Quote
bobscroll Posted May 15, 2014 Report Posted May 15, 2014 Daniel it looks very nice!, The wood has a nice grain going through it, Thanks for showing, Bob Quote
Rover2 Posted May 16, 2014 Report Posted May 16, 2014 Very nice work Daniel. I love the finish work. Thanks for sharing with us. Al Quote
jehuteh Posted May 18, 2014 Author Report Posted May 18, 2014 (edited) It was made with 2x2, 2x4, and 2x6 pine boards with no special joinery. Everything butts together and is secured with regular wood screws, I think the beauty is in the simplicity. Altogether it was about $70 at Home Depot to make this ( but I did sneak in some extra wood for my supply) Edited May 18, 2014 by jehuteh Travis 1 Quote
