I think the best way to learn is to see everything you can! Ask as many questions as you can think of and then jump in there and practice cutting with your saw. Start by cutting lines, zig zags, circles......basically get used to your saw and it's capabilities and how to control it. Be sure to buy good blades too......I think that's half the battle lol. I personally only use FD blades from Mikes. Find patterns that excite you and make you want to cut them NOW....and just jump in and give them a try. Ask more questions. And be sure to post your cuttings here.....you'll get feedback that is just invaluable, not to mention loads of encouragement!
