  6. There is a trick you can use. Print the pattern then you have a choice of either spray glue or one of the other easy to remove glues. Quite a few of us put down a layer of the blue painters tape before affixing the pattern, This does 2 things. First it makes removing the pattern after being cut much easier and cleaner and Second it provides some lubrication when cutting, this reduces the burning of the wood when cutting it. Personally I put down the blue painters tape then use spray glue on the back of the pattern. This works for me. DW

  18. My sister has commissioned me to make this bank for her. She is going to be giving it as a shower gift for a friend that is having a girl. The bank is cut from 5 layers of 3/4 pine. The paint ( I normally do NOT paint my work ) is acrylic and that was top coated with shellac. The bank is 3 3/4 wide x 6 3/4 tall x 9 1/2 long. DW

  23. Roly you could go to one of your hobby stores that sells supplies for the folks that make the miniature train and village scenes they should have something like a ground cover that you could glue on... if it looked like straw or hay it would fit quite nicely. DW
