  2. Still looks good to me, Al, and I wouldn't even have attempted the pattern with spirals! I should probably practice with them but, so far I really haven't found them necessary. Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse
  3. Thanks for the reply, My wife also has a Cricut which is probably why I thought to ask if it was vinyl. God Bless! Spirithorse
  4. Very nice! Is the lettering vinyl? God Bless! Spirithorse

  12. My wife saw a table-top version of a wagon she liked but, wanted a large one for outside. It is 30" long by 16" wide and, for now, has 5 signs to be displayed on it. My wife painted the signs and used a Cricut vinyl cutter for the lettering. A pic of the table top version is on the left on a clip board. God Bless! Spirithorse
  13. That's a beauty, Ron, Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse
  14. Hi, Ray, I'm sorry to hear of your loss and my prayers are with your family. I don't want to start an up-roar about religion but, I hope you have faith in God to help. Please do not let yourself become depressed and please know there are a lot of people here to talk to. My e-mail is spirithorse55 at Hotmail dot com if you ever want to talk more privately. 15. I made this wagon on the scrollsaw and made signs to hang on the front with Happy Harvest, Happy Easter, Merry Christmas, a red, white, and blue striped star, and a Welcome sign for the front of the wagon which is 30" Long and 16" wide. My wife painted all of the signs and today she put the Fall leaves, Pumpkins, and Scarecrow in the wagon. I'll post a better pic without all the clutter behind it later. God Bless! Spirithorse
  16. Nice work! Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse

  18. Hi, Ozark, Not a HAM tower, just an old fashioned TV Antennae tower. God Bless! Spirithorse
  19. There are about 8 of Dirk Boelman's slotted ornaments in the old Holiday Issue of 2011 of Creative Woodworks & Crafts magazine for those that may be able to locate that issue. God Bless! Spirithorse
  20. Here is a photo of an out-door awning project that my wife and I completed recently. Mind you, I am 64 years old and my wife is slightly younger and we finished this in 7 days. It is approximately 14' wide by 22' long. Handling those 14' 2' x 6' x 14' rafters was a bit of a work-out but, we managed well for a couple of novices. I don't know who the old geezer is having a smoke on our newly completed deck but, I suppose that just shows that it serves its purpose to have a comfortable place to sit out-side and still be sheltered. It has a standing ridge metal roof which extends beneath the gutters on the sun room on the right side and the gutters on the house in the back. The front side extends about 19 inches over the posts and the left edge extends about 24" beyond the posts. Thanks for looking and God Bless! Spirithorse
  21. Looks great! I was going to make a suggestion like Ron did above but, my first thought was a Roman Ogee bit routed edge. If you route the edge, when you stain the wood, the routed edge will naturally be a darker hue. Just the nature of of how much stain absorbs into the end grain compared to the surface. God Bless! 22. Good luck on your sales and God Bless! Spirithorse By the way, don't forget to check out Jerry's latest Santa ornament for your list.
  23. Welcome to the forum. Depending on what type of scroll work you are imagining right now, I think a palm sander would be a great investment and they can be purchased really cheaply. Looking forward to seeing some of your work. God Bless! Spirithorse
