  1. Hi, Larry, I don't know what kind of software you have but, I think most computers still include the Paint program. Those instructions are below. Below that are instructions for the free programs Inkscape and Gimp. Good luck and God Bless! Spirithorse Paint right click the photo and point at open with, and click on paint, Click on the rotate listing and click on rotate horizontal it will work. 2. Not a chance of getting laughed at @Whisper We all started somewhere and, although some people learn more quickly than others, as long as we all enjoy what we are doing and people on this forum are encouraging rather than critical in a nasty way, it's all good! God Bless! Spirithorse

Beautiful! I don't think I'd ever paint a project that took as long as I imagine that one did to cut but, you pulled it off amazingly! Looks like a picture of a post card! God Bless! Spirithorse
  4. Great work! Thanks also for the tip about painting bridges. God Bless! Spirithorse
  5. Impressive work, Tony! You have also given me new insight into the fretsaw. I never really thought about the depth of the project and a hand fret saw. Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse
  6. Acrylic crafters paint like Apple Barrel brand can be diluted with water which will eliminate the problem you are mentioning about parts not fitting after painting. This watering down, of course, will make the paint more translucent than using it straight out of the bottle. God Bless! Spirithorse
  7. I don't think the woodenvisions site is running any longer. Mike Williams has some very advanced patterns here https://www.etsy.com/shop/MikeWilliamsDesigns God Bless! Spirithorse

  10. Welcome to the forum, Mike, If you are already cutting successfully with spiral blades, you are certainly on a great start. I personally cannot get used to spiral blades. Enjoy yourself here and I'm looking forward to seeing some of your projects. God Bless! Spirithorse

  13. Unfortunately, this topic has changed from WHAT CAN new2woodwrk do with what he has to where to purchase, etc. I think the plexi would be useful for projects like lanterns that have 4 panels with lighting inside. Small nightlights with the C30 type bulb can also be made with the plexi. Perhaps some Christmas ornaments or monogram necklaces. God Bless! Spirithorse
