  1. Nice work, Art, I really like the acrylic version. Did you use super-glue to glue that? Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse
  2. Great work, Robert, Thanks for sharing your work. Every time I see Saginaw, MI under your avatar I think of the song by that title by Lefty Frizzell. God Bless! Spirithorse
  3. Congratulations! God Bless! Spirithorse
  4. Very, very nice! It is called NOAH'S DOVE available here http://www.scrolleronline.com/product/Noahs_Dove_Intarsia_Pattern/337 I don't know yet who the designer is since I just found it in the catalog. God Bless! Spirithorse
  5. Very nice! I hope you get some requests to see your other work and subsequent orders from this. God Bless! Spirithorse
  6. I really like that idea. The presentation is fantastic. Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse
  7. Does anybody know yet what sites this Dave Baker has joined to gain access to these patterns? I received another e-mail from e-Bay and they want me to fill out another VERO form with info about what type of copyright infringement is involved, i.e. Software offfered for sale, Counterfeit items, e0bay olisting contains unlawful copy of copyrighted image, etc. I replied that I already filled out the necessary form, explained the complaint to e-Bay, and they are making it more difficult for the copyright holder than they are for their dishonest seller !! Now I just want to expose this guy to anyone he has contact with. God Bless! Spirithorse
  8. Here is the first reply I got from my complaint to e-Bay. I hope Paul, Travis, Charles Dearing and a few others fill out the form and hamper this guys business on e-bay. To fill out an NOCI, please go to the following link: http://pages.ebay.com/vero/notice.html On that page, please click on the link for "Notice of Claimed Infringement" within the first paragraph. This will take you to the DocuSign process, which will allow you to fill out and sign an NOCI electronically after you authenticate your email address. If you need any help filling out the form, you are more than welcome to contact us by phone at 1-866-322-9106. If you are reporting work that was copied from someone else, they would need to fill out the NOCI form in order to report the listings to us. They could also authorize you to report on their behalf, but in that case you would need to provide us with the NOCI form and a signed letter of authorization from the rights owner. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us again. Thank you for contacting the VeRO Program. Sincerely, Alexis V. eBay VeRO Team
  9. Does anyone recognize the name Dave Baker from the letter above as a member of any wood-working forums? Someone could buy one of his 'stencils' and it would have his real name and address when it arrived. God Bless! Spirithorse
  10. Thanks for the heads up, Travis, I also think the pattern library should be locked to non-members. I have filed a complaint with e-bay as well. God Bless! Spirithorse
  11. As everyone already said, great pattern by grampa and wonderful cutting of it. Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse
  12. Great work! Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse
  13. Great work, Roly, Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse
  14. Too bad there isn't a description of how this was done. It looks like the light areas were glued onto the backer but, no mention of thickness or anything. God Bless! Spirithorse
  15. Hi, It sure doesn't look like the wood is being burned by the blade. It looks more like it is in the area of the blade holder. Have you cleaned the blade holders/blade clamps to see if they are causing the streaks? I hope you find the cause soon and share the result with us. God Bless! Spirithorse
  16. Great job, Marg, Funny how the color can change so much on computer monitors! LOL Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse
  17. Hi, Ray, I know you said you put some carpet down but, my humble suggestion would be to also temporarily clamp the dewalt to the bench with the carpet still there. I do not own a Dewalt but, just a couple quick grip clamps won't take too long to try out and may make an incredible difference. God Bless! Spirithorse
  18. Great work, Gordie, Thanks for sharing and God BLess! Spirithorse
  19. Nice work, Gordster! Would you mind if I ask for a copy of that pattern, please? Not sure if I'll cut it but, I have 2 nieces and a sister that are nurses so, I may get the urge sometime when I feel better (health issues). Thanks for considering the request and thanks for showing us your work. God Bless! Spirithorse
  20. Nice work! Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse
  21. Great job! I really like that font you used for the script like portion. Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse
  22. Hi, Paul, I'm really sorry to hear you lost such a beautiful project. I can't help but wonder why you would choose the table saw over the scroll saw to just tweak the border of the cutting/portrait? God Bless! Spirithorse
  23. Great cutting, Tom, I think Bob corrected the Texas were my heart is pattern because the 'were' should have been 'where'. Great cutting, just the same. God Bless! Spirithorse
  24. Well done, Gordster, I agree with the idea about glueing in the islands but, you did a fine job of cutting as is. Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse
  25. Very nice! Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse
