  1. Hi Ray: Whatever you were going to say, I agree - I'm wrong in what I wrote - You do need the star and these pieces will fit into that star This whole thread is becoming very puzzling Fab4
  2. Hi Danny from Huntsville The colors add to this one It beats stained with a black backer Well done Fab4
  3. Ray: The 2 examples that Scott showed at the beginning of this post are 2 separate pieces They do not go together - The star one is a partial cutting, It's missing the star that is cut into puzzle pieces - The shape for both just happens to be the same, this is what is throwing you off BUT: If you do manage to fit the pieces from the top one into the star, make sure you keep the solution it will surely be a one of kind So what you and Jim did is the actual pattern for the top photo Thanks Fab4
  4. Hi Ray: Go ahead and make a pattern, would love to see it. Thanks Fab4
  5. Sorry about that Ray, I thought I read in a previous post that you got what you were looking for Good Luck Fab4
  6. Hi Bob Printing is not the problem - it's getting the size right on what shows up and what actually prints - I agree with what you are saying though This is just like everything else when it comes to technology - Some get through it with no problems and others struggle. We are on different systems and it looks like you will have to find what works for you when a problem occurs - It's been an interesting topic, Thanks to all who replied - Now, let's get back to our regular scheduled program and move on - I think Ray got what he was after. Fab4
  7. Dan: What is your display setting set at for your computer - just curious - see my post about changing my setting - thanks
  8. I'm going to add something else that's weird about printing the right size When I was following that video, The only way I could get the correct size after trial and error was to change my Display Setting. Apparently Inkscape was being stretched with the setting I had and not giving me a true measurement went from 1152x864 to 1280x720 (for those who understand this) Make sense??? All I know is that I can print from Inkscape size for size when I set the Zoom at 64% - I don't pretend to understand but I'm happy with the results Fab4
  9. Hi Ray Check this out and see if it will do anything for you hope it plays Fab4

  22. Hi Pete: Back when I was doing shows, I had these on my table, real small reindeers, 2" high, similar to what you are showing here. People would look at them, said they were cute and kept on walking I think I was asking $5 each - they did have a bow also on them, but didn't sell They were all thinking that these little guys were made in China or from the Dollar store Then, I brought one with me that was just cut and showed the people how to get to the reindeer, Once they were convinced that it was actually made by me on a saw, they literally flew off the table. Show and tell is one great way to get sales. Just thought I would share this little story. Fab4
  23. Hi Carl I do all of my hole drilling with my dremel which I hold in my hand No stand or drill press required. I do have a nice big drill press but it's quicker for me doing it by hand - The Dremel will hold all of the small drill bits that are mentioned above Fab4
  24. Hi Roberta: I don't want to pry into your personal affairs, but how many pairs of your husbands underwear do you keep in your shop Fab4
