    Wood jackpot

    Come on down .
  18. I bought all this wood for 80$. I am set for a very long time. Well a coup!e of projects and get my money back plus more. The guy I bought it from had it for two years and never did anything out of it so just wanted it out of his garage. My son thought I was crazy. I think it is really cool and already got projects going.
  19. Yep when I bought it all I could think of was really cool ornaments and then the guy was talking about how I could glue some and run then through the planer and I was like wow and got really excited. My best buy ever as a scroller. I love it.
  20. Not sure the type of wood . Got it at a yard sale the guy had a bunch of boxes. He got them from an auction . He bought a pallet full. He doesn't want it anymore. I hope he has some left I want some more.. Especially at that price..
  21. I have just figured out that I can take a few of my extra pieces and glue then together and get a bigger piece so. hopefully some of my scrape will start to disappear. or I am going to start donating it to a youth center and let some kids hammer and paint and have some fun with it.
  22. I bought these two boxes fulled to the brim for 20.00$. they are 3/8 inch thick. I can glue some pieces together and make larger pieces to cut thing out of. I really don't think I did that bad. I can probably make my money back in no time.
  23. the friend I made it for really liked it so. I might try another later. Just right now I like to just cut the patterns not design them. I will leave that for the professionals. Thanks for looking. Have a great and safe week Mimi
  24. I finally got it done. I hope my friend likes it. I did the pattern. And had help with the outside boarder. . Thanks everyone for all the help not sure i will design another one. Will leave it to the professionals. Thanks for looking Mimi
  25. Back in 2004 I went to an arts and craft show and saw some people making things on a scroll saw and thought it would be cool to do. I went and bought a harbor frieght saw and it vibrated so bad it scared me. I went to the new wood craft store and tried a Dewalt and fell in love with the saw and the hobby. This hobby has helped me in many ways. When I was going to school I would study for a while and then go and cut some things out and was able to write my papers and pass my classes. Now it is used as stress reliever and a side income. A lot of people i work with have ordered thing and I have upgraded to a Excalibur and I make Christmas ornaments for the babies in the infant room at the day care I work at. A lot has changed since I started scrolling and it has helped me in many ways and am glad I found this hobby.
