Hello everyone Well I finally made the portrait of my friends mother. I would like to thank J. Lawson for the pattern. When I gave her the picture she cried. so I guess that means she liked it. Thanks agian to all the pattern makers . Mimi

Thanks everyone. I am glad I stack cut them because my daughters puppy managed to pull it off the counter and chew it like a chew bone. I did put the purple beads on the one left . I was going to sell at a festival this weekend but it got rained out. Its all good I have another place to put my items so they will sell. Hope everyone has a good rest of the weekend. Mimi

The zebra stripe is felt glued on . I cut the felt out with the pattern so it would all fit together.. Not sure if I should have had the stripes going the other way. I thought it was differant and gave it a try. thanks for the comments. Mimi

Well it has been a good week. I have managed to get another project done. I even went to work and got overtime all is well. I am hopeing to get 1 or two mor projects done and still have to to visit with my daughter over the weekend. Thanks for the encouragement. I think that is what has helped me to get back in to sawing. Thanks you everyone. I gave one to a friend at work and I thought she was going to cry. I guess she is a really big Kenny Chesney fan. I think I surprised her because I have only been at this job for about a month .So getting something like that was a suprise.

Hello Scott. I am from VA. My family used to go to nags head on vacation. Love the peanuts from that area. Would really like to see some of your work. I understand about work keeping us from the saw. Hey Kevin there are times I wish I didn't because if I start watching it I never get anything done. I dont really miss not watching it. I get just as much enjoyment lisitening to the radio. I can get more done with the radio on.Thanks Bob and Edward for the compliment. I am working hard on other things now cant wait to get them done.

I finally got this finished. This was one of those pattens I only worked on a little at a time. I guess having a empty nest is working out. I am trying to figure out what to make next. Thank you to the pattern maker.
