  1. Made this Saturday for myself for a change - since I never make myself anything out of the shop . My wife more or less made the pattern for me , made out of 3/4" Maple material out of the scrap pile and painted and with several coats of clear coat . The wife seems to think that these would sell here real well , well we'll see if anyone wants one or not . Anyway - any comments are welcomed .............MB
  2. I'm in agreement here , but in all the years of scrolling - remember slow is better and as said let the blade do the walking or cutting with very little force ..............MB
  3. Never had any luck with most of the Olson blades , but any blade can always give you problems for one - the speed is too fast - the pressure your applying is too much - the type of wood your using - in general sometimes it's possible a bad blade can get by - and also it could just be one of those days that you should have stayed away from the scrollsaw , and I've had a day like this before . But in general Mike's F-D Blades are the best in all the years I've been scrollong , like I've said some days - are better in the house watching TV . I don't have these very often, and another thing is when you've had a long day at the saw and things seem to start going wrong or not good in you line of thinking - it would be good practice to learn how to quit and go in . My two cents worth .......But Mike's Blades .............MB
