  1. Great to have you,Ralph!.Now im currious as to the answer to the type of scroll saw your useing hats electric but not?Ypur the longest time scroll saw user i know of! Congradulations!Must be nice to have that amount of scrolling under your belt!
  2. These were done 12/2/11, i believe when i was'nt on line anymore.Three pattern makers had made these for me in the village.I did'nt keep notes as to who gave me what but am finally able to bring it out for everyone to see The customer orderd all these and never paid me.He works next door! Keep me scrollin and in practice so i did'nt mind.
  3. Your all the best! i just woke up ,and opened the village and seen all the nice comments! What a way to start the day thanks so much!
  4. Martin ,i use exclusively "rapidresizer" for all my enlarging and reducing needs.Super easy to use, easy accsess.Stores all the pictures u change size to too,You can also tell it to enlarge 1 inch by 40 inch and it will or vica versa. You pick the numbers from the graph.Best tool i ever bought by far!I rate it a 10 ,10 being the best!
  5. Hi Karen ,Nice work on the carveings,Your a master at it!.I am prone to pick up my blades by the very ends and the oil from my skin gets on the blades and causes a slight lose of tenstion at start up.I conpensate for this by snuging up the tenstion a little as i saw. When they are lose the just keep getting loser and loser and break.
  6. John ,That is a tedeus project well deserving of "atta boy"Nice ,super nice pattern ,Very strikeing pose in the flowers.Excellant patterning Ru8ssel!

  8. Mr.Martin ,you have no idea how long i've looked for this site" dafont".I've had many jobs i had to practice writing their name in script. What a time consumeing job that is.you save me hours of time to do them now ,and perfectly!i'm going to send you milk and cookies for this valuable info!
  9. Hand made by GINA! This should draw some interesting customers your way.Real inventive welcome sign .Your work is setting the pace around the village here!Keep them coming .Make sure you keep a portfolio of your work to show off when the chance comes.Un shown is un sold. This is where it all started with this one!
  10. Him Ed,I see your getting into the thick of things now!Congradulations on that.Blades have broke on me trying to thread thru projects by bending to much. Also so from not enough tightness. To hard of a wood and pushing to fast will heat them up to break.Too thick a wood for the blade can cause it to break .Try to have at least four teeth of a blade touching the thickness of the wood at anyone time too.A rule of thumb is four teeth per 1/4 "of wood .Loose blades break far faster than a blade too tight .Hope this helps .Your doing a great job for a beginer .Glad to help if this help you out!
  11. Hello ED,Were glad you found us!Show us your saw dust you've made, lolYeah the work out there 's slowed down but once you get bit by the scroll saw you'll have more than you can do.I've collected a stack a patterns thats allmost as tall as me!Portraits are beautyful and we'd love to see your hand at scrolling them out.Glad you've learned to pattern .Your going to be one of the best to contribute to the club sooner than you think. All inputs are welcome .Ask away when you need to know something ,machine repairs ,patterning problems, downloading problems.somebody has allready been there done that and will be happy to share with you all they know,Just ask in the correct forum.Glad to have you as our newest member!
  12. This is one of 5 i've done so far.this ones in yellow pine 1/2" thick.Cut w/fd-spiral#9 flyingdutchmansblades.I only was offerd $70.00 for it ,but this buyer supplys me offen with quality wood scrapes .It all works out.lolThis ones 20"tall x 16"wide.The dewalt 788 made mince meat out of the tough wood.Mikes blades took care of all the tedius cutting.Tough wood slows down the cutting which is needed on delicate letters so close to each other.Good thing i have long arms as i like to sit and cut and this one puts a strain on what i can reach at times.I packed a lunch before i started this one,It's been over a year since i cut this and could'nt post as i was off the net.Thousands more to come .Sorry to hog the user gallery but fresh meat looks the best, lol :)I'm sorry i don't have all the info i usually post with my projects.i did'nt keep records for a year.Went thru a 5 year relationship that ended and getting back in the swing of things again. Thanks for all the comforting arms of ,i'll get thru it.I made it with you'alls careing help.JESUS SAVES,tHE PATTERN WAS BY OGES pattern maker was" oges"

  24. Super job Jarrod, picture perfect! Your a great scroller for a first timer!
  25. Thanks group, yeah the particule board was'nt my favorite but it had a nice shell type look to it so i went with it.The thickness caused the blade to wander and had to recut them to true it up.
