Excellant shop talk ,i'm all ears! This kind of talk makes my day!I'm going to go with more teeth! And controlling the reverse teeth to not come out on top is a plusi never thought of .that means initial blade installation position is critical. Some thing i never thought about doing ,very tricky idea! All are great ideas and all should work!Just a thought ,Is baltic birch void free?

  8. Welcome To Scroll Saw Village Michael,I too dove in first then learned to swim, lol. This is a very relaxing ,enjoyable hobby.glad your here.open your gallery here on the top of this page to show us your firewood projects as you become acclamated to the richawals of scrolling.$7.00 an hour is a fair price for most scroll work. It's tough to make a living doing this type of work.I traded some of my work for a dw788 scrollsaw and was overwhelmed at the deal.Beauty is in the eye's of the beholder. One man junk is another mans treasure.Yard sales are low priced allmost give away prices .You need to stay with craft shows .Church ones seem to have a lower entery fee.Craft shows get upwards of $100.00 to get in.and then there's parks and communitys that have craft sales too which are low price entery fee's.My first $20.00 show ,out of 10 crafter's i was the only one to sell anything, and $190.00 at that. They were over whelmed at the detail i got out of wood!.Stay busy making things ,it's all practice work for you so selling these really is'nt the main thing to worry about.their buying your practice piece's!lol.Your going to have a lot of self satisfieing pleasure scrolling and you get your own man cave to do it in! lol, looking forward to seeing your work ,thanks for joining!

A glorified jumbo router! never use mine yet but needed too yesterday and today but was scared at what the neighbors would think ! ha ha I did turn it on once when i got it .you really need ear plugs .they say it'll scater chocklate chips everywhere. The grass loves it as long as it's not mdf or plywood cause of the glue in it.Free mulch! nice treasure you found trevor!Good hunting .P.S.don't trim your finger nails with it.!
