  12. Hello John,That's one giant leap you've made for your self, congradulations, you won't regret it.What good is knowedge is you don't use it and if you share it ,the doors and windows you open for others is so vast their benifit's are tremendous.I too was in the shadows of ssv a year and broke thru.Where i am today compared to where i was is night and day.I go for projects that are beyond what i've done, so i can look back at things of lesser expertise now and i can say ,"that's a piece of cake to do"Nothing is impossiable now .Dare to take the next step .Try everything ,it's all a learning process and no one can take away your knowledge. You have it all here at ssv.Just ask and we'll help all we can!WelcomeJohn!

  19. Granpa .You hit the nail on the head that time. It's amazing how simple things can frustrate us to know end. What a great idea to fill the hole! I use tooth picks to stuff in holes where screws won't hold anymore and you can't use a differant size screw, like on counter sunk door hinges.

  23. I find that true too. For my handyman work i low priced and they think i'm a sloop maybe for a low price like that. And then again same is true for new crafts to low and they have no value to it.Go high and take the offer as they want to bicker any way but when its to low when they bicker it'll be next to nothing you get for it.
