I just love all my life cutting with #12-#9-#7 blades. Get in and get out quick and simple, always moving forward. Now having done some (a lot ) of projects for Rdatelle with his advice I fell in love with fine tooth blades! Even in 3/4" thick oak they performed beautifully. No where near as fast a cutting speed much like cutting with a spiral. Let the saw do the work. This project here I wanted to do but the pattern was not up to par. So high detail us scrollers are used to deminished. Thanks for looking!!!
As much as a married man needs brownie points I'm surprise you didn't use hard wood. They know everything so it burned food for you for a while!!! Good job!!!
i don't never want to fool with a collet again. Dremel makes a chuck that fits right on a Dremel just like a jacobs chuck .What a fool proof time saver and tightens up the smallest of drill bits for only $10.00 i bough 5!!!
Steve Good said use gray lines which helps ,I use most any light color but a variation of red works well. I had patterns that were very dark black and I used a 150 watt bulb which dulled it out so I could follow the line.
And a big welcome from me too!!! I'm sure we will learn alot from your 30plus years working with wood. Load us up with picture of your work so we can ooh and ahh some too!!! Hope you become a regular here! Thanks for finding us!!!
