One problem i had was to take it apart and then look for the problem not good. On the dewalt a smidgen of play here ends up a lot eslewhere.Best way it to locallize where the problem is while it's together.

Hold down on the top arm with out a blade in it and lift the blade holder up and down to see if there's play and go from there. Do the same for the bottom blade holder.That's how i localized my dw problems.
