  14. I thought about when i will need to make adapters for my dust collector from sprinkler pvc fittings ,couplings,reducers and pipes will get you in the ball park .A quick wrap with reynolds wrap should tighten up the tolerances perfectly for you.

On the brite side you have some pre stained wood.Also you learned a good lesson on saw safety..Always enough time to do it right but not enough to do it over.Well you have a good reminder now you will never forget.Take care my friend.I caught my finger in my hand held planer ,stopped the motor and not one cut or blood .I never forgot that one when i pick it up.
  20. Some times i'll sand the blades ends and the blades holders too only to have slip after a few trys.I'm going to make a larger tension knob for getting more torx in tightening the blades.thick blades don't compress like thinner ones do .i'm just lacking strenght to tighten them anymore.
  21. i've sat in front of the central a.c.intake with a pleated paper filter.None of the dust went anywhere in any off the rooms .i did sanding drum sanding of intarsia's which is really dusty.The heavy dust fell to the floor.When i noticed the filter bowing in i would vacuum it and was ready to go again.You could make a box to fit the paper filter and have a squirrel cage to fan suck the dust to it effectively. . . .
