Down Right Awesome job!!!

Well I know it has been awhile since I have been to the Village. I have had some Health issues that has kept me away. I hope they are all behind me now, keeping my fingers crossed. I saw this Jeep on a visit to Harbor Freight, I bought it really enjoyed putting it together. That inspired me to look for more on the net, I came across several. The Wright Flyer was a Challenge, had to do a few modifications, the thickness of the wood was different I was using was thicker than the pattern, the Butterfly was no problem, I was Great being back in my shop.

A Great Big Congrats!!! I use a Delta 40 694, have for the past 3 yrs, I only ha to replace the top Tightening screw. And the only reason I had to do that, the plastic knob started spinning whenever I tried to tighten the top clamp. Good thing I had some from my old saws. I keep everything.

They both came out Fantastic!!!! Don't ever give up, if you feel your getting to frustrated, take a brake, chill on some cola, or a cold one, then go back and cut some more.

Love it!!! I use as much of my scrap as I can, My local Lumber Co, doubled the price of my 1/4 Luan from $11 to $ 22,09

I have never cut corian but I have cut plexiglass. And I found at least for me and the thickness of Plexiglass I was cutting 1/2 I had to cut fast. When I did I had no melting.
