Nicely cut and presented

Made some signs today, they are cut from MDF and coloured using water dyes. The name signs are for the kids, the Sarah Jane done was done using the Twilight font and Jack was done using the Ben10 font. Also made the Come In/Go Away Ambigram sign for Sarah to hang on her door handle, she is 12 so im guessing it will be set at Go Away most of the time

Made these as a custom order after someone saw the Mum coaster I made. Cut from New Guinea Walnut and the wording filled with black polymer clay, finished with spar marine varnish to help make it a bit water proof.

Hi Rachel and welcome to the Village. What model saw do you have now? If your saw if variable speed and accepts pinless blades, then basically that's all you really need. But if you are just making toys you can probably get away with a pinned saw. I started out on a single speed, pinned blade saw and it was good enough for me to see that I enjoy scrolling and I then later updated to saw to a better one. Anyway I hope this helps with your questions.
