I love hearing testimonies like this Spirithorse. I have had a few times in my life that God has stepped in and showed His mercy to my kids and I. The time I believe to be the greatest of God's intervention was back in the 80"s. My second oldest daughter was around 4. I had just finished cutting the grass in the back yard, filled the gas tank and moved to the front. I walked up and down the yard maybe 3 times and the mower just shut off, it just died. I pulled once or twice trying to start it, but it didn't start. Then I heard a an urgent voice asking, "where's Niki?" I looked around and didn't see her. My wife (at the time) was on the driveway and I asked her where Niki was. She said she didn't know. I have never before this time, or after this time felt such an urgent need to find my kids. I ran to the back yard and there was my daughter standing by the swingset with the gas can in her hand and the nozzle in her mouth. I yelled at her to stop and she took it out of her mouth, but she had already inhaled enough fumes to make her high. Her eyes were dull and grey and she didn't respond to anything we said or did to her. We rushed her to the ER and told them what had happened and they took her back and and put her in some machine, I forget what they called it. They kept her for a few hours and then said we could tale her home. She suffered no problems from that ordeal. No brain damage or lung problems, nothing. I believe in my heart that God killed the mower that day, and He asked me where my daughter was. He is awesome! Even when we're not!
