  1. That's an awesome piece Dan! I think that's the first Victory piece I've seen. I made a plaque a few years ago, wish I'd of thought of one like that!
  2. Thanks Larry! I think it was just that I forgot and left the saw in the garage for 2 nights when it got below 20 degrees here. I think it was just too cold.
  3. Thanks guys! Couldn't get it out. There's a red reset button in the middle, no place to put a screwdriver. I did tap around on the motor and the area around the breaker and it started working again. Maybe the connection was just stuck open.
  4. Hello, could someone with a Delta 40-694 scroll saw please tell me where the fuse is at? The online manual says it's where my reset button is, but there's no way to open it. My saw won't power on! Thanks for any info!!!
  5. That is amazing! I am going to have to give intarsia a try one of these days. That is just beautiful!
  6. It's been a while since I've posted any projects, I have been looking around though. I wish I was as busy as some of you are! I did make this Vape holder a couple days ago. I'm trying to quit smoking and thought I'd give Vaping a shot. I use the highest nicotine oil they had, but there's just something about a cigarette that keeps me coming back.
  7. Those are real nice. I really like the rebel one. If the picture is on your PC, all you have to do is right click on it and then choose rotate left or right to straighten them out.
  8. All the plaques I make are 1/2" or 3/4" backers and I attach 1/8" to that. Thay way I always have enough stock to attach hangers. The Arrowhead backer is 1/2" and the face is 1/4". The one with the pistols is just 3/4" no backer.
  9. I use saw tooth hangers, one on each end for the large pieces.
  10. I know what you mean about having to sell something to buy something Kevin. I need an HDD for my laptop so I have to sell my Xbox system. Kinda like, "robbing peter to pay paul"!
  11. Kevin, do you look at the Christian cross as an idol or image that is worshipped? Anything can be put in the place that God is to hold in our lives. God knows your heart, that you don't want to do anything that will offend Him. If you are doing wrong He will tell you. (Romans 14:23b "For whatever does not proceed from faith is sin")
  12. Hello Dave. I'm in OP and saw that ad on CL. I contacted the person with questions the other day and still haven't heard back from them.
  13. I haven't made a puzzles yet, but I kind of have the same problem when I cut BBP. I use the good blue painters tape to attach my patterns to when cutting. I found tho, that when I use it on BBP, when I peel the tape off it leaves holes in the wood. It pulls alot of the wood off and leaves holes. So i bought some of the no name, or cheap BPT to try and it woorks great. It doesn't pull any wood off with it. So now I use the cheap tape for all BBP projects. It might work for the picture problem too. It's not as sticky as the good tape. Just a thought.
  14. That came out awesome! Is that the Delta 40-694? How do you like it? I have it and I love mine. I like it alot better than the 788.
  15. On your home page, there's a section called "Groups" just click on "See all" and pick the groups you want to join.
  16. I do all my business on Facebook. I'm guessing it's the same everywhere, but I join alot of the swap N shop groups in my area and post ad's in them. It works out very well. If you have swap n shop or buy and sell groups in your area, join them and post an ad with pictures of your products.
  17. Excellent craftsmanship Kevin. Those look like they were professionally made. Outstanding work sir!
  18. That's an awesome cross. Is it your design?
  19. Those are great Kevin! They are great sellers. I sell as many of those plaques as I do name plates. Something I do when I have to cut a lot of one thing, like your crosses. I have cut, hearts, doves, rabbits and a few other silhouettes from plexiglass. I use the templates to trace right on the wood then stack cut them. Saves alot of supplies. Don't have to use any paper, ink, tape, glue and there's no clean up, just cut and sand.
  20. Merry Christmas! I got the same saw last October, and love it!
  21. I use painters tape on solid wood, on top only and glue pattern to the tape so there is no residue. On BBP I glue the pattern to the wood. I have tried painters tape on BB, but when I take the tape off it always pulls chuncks of wood off with it. I use clear packing tape only when stack cutting.
  22. That is just awesome Steve! A very nice cutting. Who, what or where is this Onder? I would love yo have this one.
  23. Those are great pieces. I really like the hanging one!
  24. A great piece of art! I like the contrasting colors.
  25. Excellent Sunday cuttings Roly. Great cutting!
