  1. I'd like to ask for help turning this pic into a pattern, if possible. These are my daughters cousins (on her moms side) and they were murdered back in April. Bodies were found in May. My daughters grandma has asked me to make a memorial of them for her and this is the only pic she had. I know it's poor quality so if it's not possible I understand, I will figure something else out. Thanks so much for your time!
  2. Holy cow that's awesome!
  3. Thanks for the ideas! I put a couple bridges in and just finished cutting. Thanks again! This is my first portrait cutting and a first for using a spiral! Used a FD-NS #1. Went pretty good too, I ike them.
  4. Good afternoon, I'm attempting to do this One Direction pattern (by Mahendra) since they are in concert tonight in KC, MO. dilemma is this, in the second pic where I have the washer is a floater. How should I connect it so it looks good or should I leave it seperate and just glue it on the backer? I have penciled in some line but I don't think it looks good. Any help will be much appreciated!
  5. Been a while since I cut one of them, never really wanted to get the hang of that!
  6. Great work there Kevin. The collet rub gives the eye a little definition!
  7. Nice cutting! I ike the superman you have there too.
  8. Very, very nice work!
  9. Very nice shop! Beats my 1/2 car garage I use. I see the back-up saw aon the shelf under your bench. Looks like a Ryobi.
  10. Looks awsome! Nice work Keefie.
  11. WOW! Kevin the sign is just awesome! You did a wonderful job on it. You could maybe google the gay rainbow and get the colors you need for the foam.
  12. Beautiful Gator!
  13. Excellent design and finish Jim, just beautiful!
  14. Nice cutting there Doc.
  15. Just awesome Barb! I like the car alot. I also like how you incorporate the scroll saw and the router. My hands are not steady enough to carve with a router. Outstanding!
  16. Very nice foolin around Kevin!
  17. Thanks for the compliments! Kevin, I cut it on my 24" craftsman (which I don't like at all) and then cleaned it up on my 16" Ryobi. For some reason when I cut on my craftsman the cuts are seldom straight up and down. The blade is square with the table, i guess it's just the way I feed it. But the 16" I get perfect cuts every time.
  18. Interesting Kevin. Maybe take a razor blade and trim the top off and see what it looks like.
  19. Very nice, I like them!
  20. This is one I'm working on. I just finished the stain, cherry. It's 17" x 13". The cup is for size comparison. I don't know what kind of wood it is, it was the top of an old dresser. I've not seen the grain pattern before. The other picturec are the same wood but it has more pointy grain. Thoughts, opinions? Thanks for looking.
  21. Very good work on the lion Kevin, sure it's your first segmentation?
  22. Nice one, I like all your autos also.
  23. Awesome work Kevin, you did it again. Turned a piece of wood into a work of art!
  24. Awesome works Dan! Are the military patterns your design?
  25. Look great to me. You could ship them to Kansas if you don't like them!
