  1. Awesome Keith! It'd be a bit tidious, but you could do red behind the rose and hearts and black every where else. If you're into painting!
  2. Another great piece Frank! Well done.
  3. An awesome piece indeed! Did you count how many times you drilled a hole? I wouldn't have, I'd have lost interest after the lid!
  4. Real nice Roly!
  5. They are awesome cuttings Kurt, you did an excellent job!
  6. Another fine piece! Your work makes me want to try something like that.
  7. Absolutely a wonderful piece, you should be very proud of it!
  8. Finally got the frames done and all put together. Frames are made from 1.5" poplar with cove routed on one side and rounded off on the other. Three coats of spray poly is the only finish. Thanks for looking.
  9. It's just my opinion, suggest they start with an inexpensive saw. If they find that scrolling isn't for them, they won't be stuck with an $800 saw that they will never get there money back on.
  10. That's real nice cutting Keefie! An awesome piece.
  11. That's real nice work Frank! If you take a piece of scrap wood and cut it at the angle you need, then you can rest the drill bit against the angle on the wood. Should keep it from drifting. If I'm reading your post right!
  12. An awesome piece!
  13. Here's what I've been working on the last 4 days. All were ordered. Portraits cut from 1/4" BB ply, the shelf sitter is 1/2" pine. The Eminem is by Charles Dearing, Can't remember where I got Harry but thanks to the maker and I believe I got Marylin from here and thanks to the maker. And the ADHD is mine. Thanks for looking!
  14. Very nice also
  15. Very nice, I like it!
  16. Very nice! She'll love it
  17. One word, BEAUTIFUL! Wonderful piece of work!
  18. Thanks for the kind words. An FD-UR #1 works great for cutting straight in 1/8" BB. Used an FD-NS #3/0 for everything else. I decided to add a little bit of color instead of just black.
  19. Keefie, that is just beautiful she will treasure it!
  20. Excellent work, love the wood.
  21. Started this this morning at 8:30 when my daughter left for school and just finished it. She loves Eninem. Although we battle over his music. I insist she listens to the "clean" versions of his music (she's only 13) and she argues that the edited versions "suck" because of all the blanks put in them. I just tell her she can listen to all the Vegie Tales and old Hannah Montana she wants and that ends the discussion. This is a Charles Dearing pattern cut in 1/8" BB and the backer is a piece of 2' x 4' chalk board purchased from the Depot.
  22. Looks awesome Don, nice clean cuts. Great job.
  23. I'm hopin' some of you experienced scrollers can help. I have a Ryobi SC164VS with variable speed and an old Craftsman 24" 2 speed. I'm wanting to maybe somehow take the variable speed off the Ryobi and put it on the Craftsman. Like mentioned the Craftsman is 2 speed, too slow and too fast! On the high speed the blade breaks every time. I'm thinking if I hook everything up the same way it might work, (but I know nothing about them) it just works in my head. So if anyone has any ideas I would be thankful!
  24. That's nice hepp, the font looks like it has a shadow.
  25. You've done an excellent job! That one is on my to-do list.
