This is a few from an order I have. They are 3/4" maple, and are finished, the customer likes the raw look.

Looks great to me too Paul. Every time I cut something and show my girlfriend, she'll ask me if I'm happy with it. I usually say no and point out why. She laughs at me and says, "you're the only one that will ever notice that." Which is true. I'll sell a piece that I'm not happy with and I just know when the customer shows up they will change their mind because it isn't good enough. But, they always love it and order more. We see all the lines we mess up on, but the customer never sees the pattern so they have no idea.

Thanks for all the inspiring words!! Actually, she wanted something inexpensive, so I used 1/2" BBP and sealed it with 5 coats of Spar Urethane. I told her she might want to cover it also because I couldn't gaurantee how long it would last.

I did this a few weeks ago for a friend of mine. I forgot to mention that the angel is from a Sue Mey pattern, I just added the heart.

I haven't posted anything in a long time, I've been real busy. I lurk from time to time to see what's happening but that's about it. I made these plaques based on a design by Keith Fenton and Sheila Landry. Loved theirs so much had to try it myself. Hope you like them.
