  9. Hate to burst the bubble however girl snowmen don't wear top hats. A pink stocking cap would be more girly. I love your snowman but it is a Boy...………:(
  10. Travis,  Did you send me a e-mail yesterday about someone trying to access my account from North Liberty, Iowa??

Or is that e-mail from a scammer???

I didn't specifically.  That might be system generated by the forum software, though.

Hmmmmm, I have gotten these types of notices from different sites I belong to and it was a scammer.  Thought I should check with you first.

  11. My BF is a big Red Wings fan so I made this for him. The red felt has been cut to size and glued on the back.
  12. I was a member of Free4allpatterns and Rick Gray was the owner of this group. The last e-mail address I have for Rick is [email protected]. you can try and reach him and see what he has to say. I doubt if he will be concerning about sharing one of his (wife's) patterns.
  13. Beautiful Todd, Customer will brag on his cabinet and it may just get you some more customers. Nicely done!
  14. You could paint the frame and then add the items Kevin mentioned. Great cutting.
  15. Very nice. Kudo's to you daughter for caring about others.
  16. Yikes that is a lot of small holes. Whew! beautifully done.
  17. Jim I just went up and looked at my blade and it doesn't show any wear. Now I used a blade especially for this kind of cutting. This blade is for cutting thick and very hard wood. It's a flying Dutchman. I heard ya Dan, this flooring is NOT from Lumber Liquidators. I got very little dust. Margie a couple of years ago a lumber company gave me a piece of discontinued flooring and I cut several ornaments out of it. They came out beautiful. I have attached a photo for you.
  18. Great save Dave, Look like you planned it with a inlay.
  19. Hello All, This is an experiment I have been wanted to try forever. Home Depot's flooring department has 3x5 samples of all their laminate flooring and these samples are free unlike Lowes and Menard who charge you for them......................My favorite word *free*. I am always on the lookout for free wood. Now I have a ton of their samples. Every time I go into their store I grab a hand full. Since I just spent 600.00 on flooring for our house I do not feel one bit guilty. In fact the salesman told me to take them all if I wanted as that is what they are for...........................gotta love people like this. Any way I finally cut a Christmas ornament out of one of the samples. This sample was 4 1/2 click American Cherry Mocha. I used a FD-Hd 5" 0.100 X 0.022" t.p.i.10 flying Dutchman blade. You just need to remember to let the blade do the cutting and watch for bucking. Every time I made a turn the wood tried to jump out of my hand. I used stick glue to attach the pattern and then I washed the pattern off with soap and water. No sanding needed I think these would be great for ornaments or even small key chains, etc. Your thoughts!
  20. I have three saws, my main saw is upstairs in a extra bedroom we converted to a workroom for me, second saw is in my BF's work shed and the third saw is in the basement along with all my stained glass equipment.
  21. I have a Ryobi belt/disc sander and a rigid spindle sander. I use my belt/disc sander the most. I like it's smaller size as I can fit it just about anywhere and the belts are very easy to replace. It does a good job of sanding and was a reasonable price. I saw one on e-bay for 120.00, check Craigslist and see what they have.
  22. Before I buy a printer I would check the price of ink. Some printers you can refill your own cartridges, the newer one not so much. To buy at a Big Box store will cost a fortune. I go to E-bay and put in my printer model number and up pops all the cartridges that fit my machine. I only buy from sellers who offer *free shipping* (and there are plenty) and guarantee the cartridge will work or will refund your money. I pay about a third of what you would pay in a Big Box store and I get it delivered to my mailbox......................
  23. You did a beautiful job Dick. I bet your wife was thrilled with the mirror.
  24. Love these. Great cutting.
  25. Beautiful Marg. I love putting stained glass as a backer. I use E6000 glue, works well for me.
