  1. Well I have a good excuse..............I had major surgery Dec. 1 of last year so I couldn't go upstairs to the saw or downstairs to do the staining.
  2. Roly I used Felt as my backer. It works really well and come in many many colors. Can buy it at stores like wal mart.

I was just on Pinterest and there is instructions on taking out the insides of thelight bulb and filling the light bulb with cement add a screw that has been punched thru a piece of cardboard and after the cement drys carefully break open glass and take out the cement model and attach a series of cement bulbs to a piece of barn board put a shelf on top and you have a unique coat rack, etc.

  5. These are frin steve good's last year collection, I am just getting around to cutting them. Have two more to go. Now that I have new eyeglasses I can see what I am cutting..........lol They are so much pretty in person.
  6. LOL, you don't dare throw out a burnt out light bulb no matter what size in this house. I have been doing these for several years they are a lot of fun to do and it recycles. I have made santa, snowman, the grinch, reindeer etc. If you go to Pinterest you will find a lot of different idea. Enjoy!!
  7. Love these. Waste not want not..................that's what I was always taught. I save all my scraps and I am forever going to my scrap box to find a little piece I need.

  10. Also try lumber yards that sell flooring. I got some discontinued sample that scrolled up beautifully. Is any construction going on in your area.................great source for scraps of wood as they just burn the scrap. Put the word out at school, church, post notices at grocery stores. Any Amish in your area, they always have scrap wood and a lot of it is free. Good luck!
  11. Very cute! I also have this pattern. Then again I do stained glass and as Chris has found out a lot of stained glass patterns will work for scrolling and vice versa.

  19. Great job Kevin, maybe things will turn around for you. The Best Cashier is a great pattern. How about one for the Best Teacher. Christmas coming I bet a lot of parents will buy this for the kiddo's to give their favorite teacher.
