  1. Never had to deal with Grizzly service but they have great tools. We have one of their table saws and an end mill at work.
  2. I'm just the opposite. I can cut straight with spiral and flat. I can't cut anything curved with a flat blade.
  3. I look at it like computer software. It's for one user. If you take it off your computer and are selling the original then it's legal. I would think it would be the same for patterns. If he is selling you the original and has no copies and you are the only user I would think it would be OK.
  4. Amazon has them. The price went up quite a bit but they have them.
  5. Great job on the pattern and the cut.
  6. I make my frames at work. They are just a normal frame thickness. I use a thin Plexiglas, 1/4" plywood and a 1/4"foam backer. It all just barely comes out flush with the back of the frame.
  7. Thank you everybody for all the kind words.
  8. I tried it through Firefox and I think it worked, thanks Kevin. This should be my page. I'm not trying to sell through the page yet but have family and friends that want to see what I cut so this page should work good for that also. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Rustys-scrollsaw-crafts/1395808827359948?ref=profile
  9. John I use nothing but spiral blades for fretwork. I have been using the new 3/0 spiral from Mike. I really like them, they are all I use now. I'm getting ready to order a gross.
  10. I deleted my page. I will post it again when it's the right page.
  11. Thanks Travis, I'll look into it.
  12. It says copyright scroller. That would be www.scrolleronline.com. That's where I bought it.
  13. Hopefully this is a better picture.
  14. My wife is going to help with the background. There will be 4 or 5 different colors. Thanks everybody.
  15. Never thought about moisture. Thanks for the tip Kevin. I have a lot of bare steel reloading dies that have been setting out for eight years and have no rust. Hopefully I will be fine with the blades. I will keep an eye on them.
  16. I would also recommend Mikes Workshop. I buy all my blades from Mike. Great service and fast. As far as type of blade that's a hard one. Some people like spirals and some like flat. When I'm cutting fretwork I pretty much only use the new FD 3/0 spirals. Very easy to control and they last pretty good. If I'm cutting 3/4" hardwood then I use a skip tooth flat blade. Tell us what you want to cut and we can hopefully give better advice. Welcome to The Village.
  17. I made this. It's nothing fancy but it works for me.
  18. My wife made a page for me last night. It's not much. https://www.facebook.com/rustyscrollsaw.creation
  19. It's 1/4" Maple plywood from Lowes.
  20. Finally finished the Virgin Mary. Between being too cold at times and weekday night are out because the mother in law goes to bed at 6:00 PM, a little here and there and it is cut. I still need to do the backing and frame. Sorry the picture isn't the best.
  21. I liked all of the pages. They all look good. I'm going to have to look into making my own page in the near future.
  22. They look like they could come in very handy. Not a bad price either. Thanks for sharing.
  23. Great job Roly. That is going to make some lucky little one very happy.
  24. Very clever, I like it.
  25. Start in the middle and work your way out. When cutting a new cut, cut the side closest to one already cut or you will make a weak spot that could break. I normally cut the small fine detailed stuff first and larger parts last.
