Mine is really high tech. I used the cardboard box that my mitre saw came in, cut the front & top out of it & put it on the outside bench , I am looking for a new box now as it was left out in a rain storm & is now a bit buckled.
Glad you like our licorice. there is a licorice factory not that far from me at Junee, I have been there several times to buy the licorice & it is yummy.
Made these signs for the stable doors out at the Riding for the Disabled Association where I do volunteer work .We have changed or purchased new ponies so these should keep us up to Date until they change them again. Cheers Peter.
Wow Brenda only a year on the scroll saw .You have taken to it like a duck to water, that is a lovely job on the gorilla & only your second attempt with the spirals, well done.
You could do what I did & buy a sheet of magnetic flexible sheet from e bay & cut it to size and place it over the table surface. I find it works fantastically.
Thanks Marg, I am hoping to sell these on the day. I know what you mean Marg our shed had a cheap scroll saw also so I donated my good first saw. A couple of blokes have given it a quick go but a lot of them seem to be a bit scared of it. I am sure they would love it if they only gave it a try. Cheers Peter
A lot of towns have these sheds now & it is somewhere for men to go for companionship & use the facilities to make something or just sit down & have a coffee & a yarn .We have a lovely big workshop with al the machinery & tools that you could want as well as a kitchen & dining room & also a wood storage area.We are funded by grants & whatever funds we can raise ourselves eg sausage sizzels etc.We have all sorts of people attending some might have a disability & some may be ex tradesmen & we all try to help & support each other. A very worthwhile organization.
